Second Pilot IPAT Assessment of the Koper – Ljubljana Railway Project

Monday 8 November 2010

On the 19th of October the 2nd pilot of the IPAT was carried out on the railway project Koper-Ljubljana in Slovenia. The project consists of a new railway line between Koper and Divaca and the upgrading of the line Divaca to Ljubljana.

A team of assessors, Brane Semolic (Slo), Paul Fishwick (UK), Frank Wadenpohl (CH) and Ellen Gehner (NL) visited the Ministry of Transport to interview the client, the project director and the project manager. After a whole day of presentations and interviewing, the project was evaluated by the assessors team. The results will be presented in an assessment report.

The assessment was a very interesting experience and gives us a great opportunity to make the latest improvements to the IPAT and the Manual.

More information on the IPAT is available here.
