26th IPMA World Congress

The IPMA World Congress is recognized as the major annual event for the global project management community to come together to network, learn and discuss new ideas and practice. As IPMA (International Project Management Association) represents some 50 national Associations in 5 continents, this is a truly global event.

PM-Greece in cooperation with the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA), Centre for Construction Innovation (CCI) under the auspices of the Greek Ministry of Infrastructure, Transport and Networks is proud to host the 26th IPMA World Congress from 29-31 October 2012, on the island of Crete, Greece. Practitioners, researchers, technology experts, authors, students, young professionals, trainers and assessors in project management are among those expected to attend and contribute.

The main theme of the Congress is "Integrating Project Management Standards" with a view of integrating assets to contribute in project and programme realization in times of economic recession. Research results, case studies, best practices, new methodologies, tools and technology developments on project and programme management are welcom

Both individuals and relevant organizations may contribute to the conference through professional and academic papers, position papers, presentations of best practices or significant case studies, posters, training materials, book & software presentations, tutorials, round tables, special sessions and workshops. Organizations may also consider presentation of their standards, sponsorship of various competitions (research, student, young crew) and organization of round tables.
