Krakow, 28th and 29th of November 2013
The aim of the conference is to present the challenges posed to the public sector organizations by the development of project activities, and the role that project management plays in the transformation process of the public sector in Poland and around the world.
The conference is aimed at both researchers and practitioners of project management. The keynote addresses will include references to best practices and interesting case studies. We welcome papers based on secondary research (quantitative, qualitative, and mixed), as well as reviews and polemics.
The Academic Committee for the Conference will announce the list of papers accepted for the conference, and reserves the right to reject any paper that does not receive a positive review.
Project management has become a permanent part of the management system in the public sector around the world. An increasing number of tasks of public institutions, including strategic ones, are carried out through project activities. The progressive project-orientation of the public sector results in the increased professionalism of project, program, and portfolio management.
