The Autobahn GmbH of the German Federal Government and NETLIPSE Announce Partnership

The Autobahn GmbH and NETLIPSE are proud to announce their new partnership aimed at improving the management of large transport infrastructure projects in Germany and throughout Europe!

The collaboration between the Autobahn GmbH, the newly established federally owned infrastructure company for the Autobahn network in Germany, and NETLIPSE, an established network of infrastructure project management professionals, will bring together their respective areas of expertise to tackle some of the most pressing challenges facing transport infrastructure today.

The partnership will focus on sharing knowledge and best practices in the areas of project management, quality assurance, contracting and risk management, among others. This will enable both organisations to improve the quality and efficiency of large transport infrastructure projects, ultimately benefiting the communities they serve.

“We are excited to join forces with NETLIPSE and to enter into a mutually beneficial exchange  with this unique European network of project management professionals for large infrastructure projects” said Jochen Eid, the Head of  the Planning and Construction Division at the South Bavarian Branch of the Autobahn GmbH. “This partnership will help us to further improve the quality and efficiency of our large infrastructure projects, a key aim in the Innovation Strategy of the Autobahn GmbH, while also contributing to the development of best practices in infrastructure management throughout Europe” added Bernard Gyergyay, Coordinator for Research, European Affairs and International Cooperation at the Autobahn GmbH.

NETLIPSE Chairman, Hans Ruijter, stated, “We are excited to partner with the Autobahn GmbH and to work together to improve transport infrastructure in Germany and beyond. Our network of professionals will greatly benefit from the expertise and experience of the Autobahn GmbH, and we look forward to sharing our own best practices and insights with them.”
